The first release from Corn Crake Records, the new folk label run by Ken McCluskey. (The Bluebells)

The New Leaves are a folk group from County Down, Northern Ireland, made up of four childhood friends, exploring the natural beauty, history and mythology of their environment. First single Donaghaguy Reservoir is released 29th March, a dedication to a quiet place of reflection on the outskirts of Warrenpoint, the band's hometown. Album A Sketch of Home is released on 7th June 2024 on CD and digital.

Corn Crake Records is facilitated by the LNFG team.

Now here's the thing ... In February 2025 The New Leaves will support The Bluebells at Glasgow's legendary Barrowlands Ballroom. We think it would be wonderful if the band had an LP to sell at the show. So here's the idea.

We release an incredibly limited edition signed Vinyl LP - individually signed green vinyl, only 100 units. The band will sign all 100 copies and they will be delivered to you in early 2025. If we can convince 100 of you wonderful people to buy this album, your support will enable is to make 300 copies which the band can then sell at The Barras and future shows seeding further development and planning.
