This original French artwork is a beautiful example of Japonism & the art nouveau movement. The French term `Japonisme', coined by Philippe Burty, embodies the influence that Japanese art had on the arts in France from the 1860s onwards.
For many European artists, this was a period of soul searching and aesthetic renewal, looking upon the natural world with fresh eyes to appreciate the sinuous, organic forms, sensual textures and patterns it expressed.

The tactile, smooth non-woven paper has a matt printed finish. The non-woven wall coverings have a thicker feel than paper and appear more textile-like in appearance.
Hanging and Care Paste the wall. Use a quality pre-mix tub adhesive for non-woven wallpapers.Avoid contact with the printed surface.
